EAX

Environmental Audio Extensions (EAX) is a collection of preset audio digital signal processing (DSP) offered by Creative Labs Sound Blaster sound card products. Later also used in some portable products, like the Creative Nomad and Creative Zen. This audio presets give the impression of a virtual three-dimensional sound, the voice processing DSP on the issue.Previously, Creative Labs using A3D (Aureal 3rd Dimension) until the year 2001.
