description of the raid

in this article I will explain about the notion raid

"Various kinds of methods are used to enhance performance and also reliability of the disk. Usually to improve performance, involved a lot of disks as one storage unit. Of each block of data is broken down into sub-blocks bebarapa, and is divided into the disks (striping) . when sending data disks work in parallel, thus increasing the transfer speed in reading or writing data. coupled with the synchronization of the rotation of each disk, then the performance of the disk can be improved. this way is known as RAID - Array of Independent Redudant (or Inexpensive) Disks. other than RAID performance problems can also increase the reliability of the disk by using an additional disk (redudant) to store the parity bits / block or as a disk-disk mirror from existing data.

Command Prompt

Command Prompt or we often call the CMD, is an innate program Windows Operating System that is similar to MS DOS "Microsoft Disk Operating System." CMD in the text-based operation, where a user must type the commands one by one, which can be understood and then processed and displayed. This makes CMD different programs based GUI. We as users need to know the command or commands that are recognized by the CMD, for which there are a few basic commands we will learn:

The most important thing in using the CMD is the placement location. When the CMD will be opened by default in c: \ Documents and Settings \ Mr.DIAS> ", which should I do if for example I want to go into a folder on drive D is that I should switch to the drive with the command D: like The following "C: \ Documents and Settings \ Mr.DIAS> D:" then the D:> CD Folder Name to go to the folder I want and if I wanted to get back I'll have to type the CD .. to go back one stage. CMD also we can use to open programs or files that we want, for example I wanted to open the MS Word program "D:> START WINWORD" about the place where the current drive is not a problem, we can open any application even though we are in the drive D by knowing the name used by the application, different if we want to open a file because we have to inform the CMD location of the file, for example I want to open a file on drive E with 1.doc PRACTICE filename, then I'll have to type " D:> START E: Exercise 1.doc "so CMD will know where to position the file is located. Please note, not all programs can be opened using the CMD. Download Command Prompt Basic Command

Computer' Networking

1.Network Types
There are three different types of Network / Network are:

a. Local Area Network (LAN) / Local Area Network.
A LAN is a network that is limited by a relatively small area, generally bounded by the area like an office environment in a building, or a school, and usually not far from about 1 km square.
Some models of LAN configuration, one computer is usually made in a file server. Which is used to store software (software) that govern network activity, or as software that can be used by computers that are connected to the network. The computers are connected to the network (network) is typically called workstations. Workstation capabilities more usually under the file server and has other applications in addition to applications for the network hard drive. Most LANs use the media cable to connect between one computer to another computer.

Computer Networks

Computer network is to combine several computers that are interconnected with each other. Given that computer networks allow the computers to each other can communicate and share use (sharing) either hardware or software. Every computer connected to the network called a node. A computer network can have two, tens, thousands or even millions of nodes.

Here are some benefits of computer networks:

1. With computer networks, we can access our files or files of other people who have been granted permission to access rights, wherever and whenever.
2. With a computer network can transmit data quickly and efficiently.
3. With a network of computers can share hardware among its clients, for example using the printer simultaneously.
4. With a computer network can communicate with each other between countries by using various communication technologies such as audio and video in real time.
5. With computer networks can save operational costs such as office delivery of letters, which were replaced with e-mail.

In connecting computers in a network would require a media or equipment. Broadly speaking the media use to connect your computer can be distinguished as follows:

1. Wired (cable)
- Coaxial
- STP (shielded Twisted Pair)
- UTP (unshielded Twisted Pair)
- Fiber Optic

2. Unwired
- Satellite
- Microwave
- Infrared
- Bluetooth
- Wi-Fi
- WiMax
