DBMS

Database Management System. System or software designed to manage a database, and run operations against the data in it. Examples of typical DBMS has become a standard part of the supporting section (back office) of a company. Examples of DBMS are Oracle, SQL Server 2000/2003, MS Access, MySQL and others.
